Idaho State University Phi Kappa Phi offers competitive fellowships
January 28, 2013
Idaho State University's Chapter 110 of The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi (PKP) announces Fellowship Grants for the first year of graduate or professional study.
Every year the national organization of PKP awards 51 fellowships of $5,000 each, and six at $15,000.
The ISU chapter may select one candidate from among ISU students to compete for the Society-wide awards. Selection criteria are based on academic achievement, leadership experience, career goals, and acceptance into an approved program of advanced studies.
Chapter 110 encourages all students regardless of membership in the Society. For those interested, go to www.phikappaphi.org/web/awards/fellowship.html to access and review submission instructions. Application forms may be submitted electronically to Ann Hunter at oakeann@isu.edu by March 1, 2013.
Not only will the local nominee be eligible for the national award, they will also receive a scholarship of $500 from Chapter 110, and be initiated into the chapter in spring 2013. National winners will be notified by June 1.
Please contact Mike Rowe, chapter president at 236-6160, or Hunter at oakeann@isu.edu or 282-3463.
