February 7, 2013
Idaho State University Nepalese students will again join forces to present Nepalese Night at 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, in the Pond Student Union Ballroom.
The seventh annual celebration aims to provide insight into Nepalese culture and tradition. Organizers will again treat the Pocatello community to authentic food, traditional music, dances and several cultural presentations.
Nepali students will prepare authentic Nepali food. The dinner will include pulau, which is white rice with spices; kukhurako masu, chicken curry; mixed vegetable curry; golvedako achaar, tomato pickle; and haluwa, a dessert. Similar to the previous years, there will be cultural performances.
Tickets for the night are available at PSUB and Rendezvous Complex. Prices for tickets bought in advance are $7 for students, $8 for ISU faculty and staff, and $9 for general public. Tickets will cost $1 more at the door.
