Fourth annual Veterans Family BBQ, Family Day at the Zoo set May 4

Idaho State University Veterans Sanctuary will present the fourth annual Veterans Family BBQ and Family Day at the Zoo on Saturday, May 4, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Upper Ross Park shelter.

The event features free food, live music, a variety of activities and free Pocatello Zoo tickets for veteran families. Supplies are limited – first come first serve.

Pocatello Mayor Brian Blad and Chubbuck Mayor Steven England will be issuing a joint proclamation affirming May 4 is the Veterans Family BBQ and Day at the Zoo

The ISU Veterans Sanctuary is commemorating the end of another great school year and wants to share this celebration with community veterans and their family members.
