Century High School to host ISU “Lasers, Light and Illusions” science demonstration Oct. 5

 The public is invited to a free science presentation "Lasers, Light and Illusions" at 7:45 p.m. Oct. 4 at Century High School Auditorium.

The show will feature multi-colored lasers, light pipes, color mixing, amazing illusions, and many other demonstrations, finishing with a laser light show set to music.  Everyone attending will be given a pair of "laser rainbow" glasses to keep.  All ages are welcome.  There will be some loud noises, which may be startling to small children. 

The science demonstration is part of the 2013 joint annual conference of the Idaho Science Teachers Association, the Idaho Council of Teachers of Math, and the Idaho Science, Math, and Technology.

The demonstration show is funded by SPIE, the international optics society, and Idaho State University.
