AARP older drivers ‘We Need to Talk’ seminar set Feb. 22

Idaho State University will offer a free "We Need to Talk" seminar for families and friends of older drivers Tuesday, Feb. 22, at noon in the Middle and North Fork Rooms of the Pond Student Union.

The seminar will provide information and tips on discussing with loved ones the opportunities for staying active in the community when it's time to limit or stop driving.

It will also provide tips on how to begin a dialogue with older drivers and discuss warning signs that indicate a driver may need to limit or stop driving.

Local transportation options, which can keep a person connected to his or her community, will also be discussed.
