‘Harvest Your Potential’ series offered to ISU students
August 23, 2011
Idaho State University Central Academic Advising and the Career Center are teaming up to present a semester-long student success and retention series called "Harvest Your Potential."
This program consists of student success and career development presentations and activities. Students who participate in nine or more of these events throughout the semester, including one fair and a meeting with both an academic advisor and career counselor, will be invited to an end-of-semester student recognition event featuring food and giveaways. Attendance at these events will be verified through use of a punchcard, which are available at Central Academic Advising and the Career Center, as well as other locations on campus.
In addition, Central Academic Advising, the Career Center, pre-Health Professions Advising, the Graduate School, and Office of Research have teamed together to create two separate career and major exploration fairs. The Health Professions and ISU Graduate School Fair on Tuesday, Oct. 4, will feature post-graduate health and medical-related academic programs as well as ISU graduate school options. The ISU Majors and Minors Fair on Wednesday, Oct. 5, will focus on undergraduate programs available at ISU, with the intent of assisting undecided students in choosing their major and minor programs. The ISU Majors and Minors Fair will also feature undergraduate research options available on campus.
