ISU ‘A Season of Note’ to present Rave On! The Buddy Holly Experience April 24

Idaho State University’s “A Season of Note” will present Rave On! The Buddy Holly Experience in concert Saturday, April 24, at 7:30 p.m. in the Joseph C. and Cheryl H. Jensen Grand Concert Hall in the L. E. and Thelma E. Stephens Performing Arts Center.

Remember poodle skirts?  How about car hops, the twist, hula hoops and Buddy Holly?  Well, the 1950s aren’t just a thing of the past. These days Rave On! Productions presents shows that pay homage to rock n’ roll legend Buddy Holly.

Rave On! reinvents the tribute show with a high-energy extravaganza featuring Buddy Holly interpreter, Billy McGuigan, who bears a likeness to the legendary rocker.  Backed by a six-piece band, Rave On! also features a three-piece horn section that ignites a stage performance and breathes new life into the music of Buddy Holly.
