Senior Fine Arts Exhibition opens Oct. 19

Idaho State University will host the Fall 2009 Bachelor of Fine Arts Senior Exhibition at the John B. Davis Gallery, located in the Fine Arts building. This exhibition will feature artists Kyle Jorgensen and Christopher “Sauce” Hull.

The exhibition dates are Oct. 20 through Oct. 30, with an opening reception for the artists Monday, Oct. 19, from 6 to 8 p.m. All events are free and open to the public.

Jorgensen was born and raised in Pocatello. He graduated from Century High School in 2001 and subsequently served an LDS mission in Florianopolis, Brazil from 2002 to 2004. Jorgensen is working towards his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the ISU Department of Art and Pre-Architecture, with an emphasis in printmaking. He has also completed the two-year pre-architecture program at ISU. After graduation he plans on working in the Portland area for a year before pursuing a masters degree in an art/ design field. 

Hull, also known as “Sauce,” was born in Idaho Falls and currently lives in Pocatello. He graduated from Idaho Falls High School in 2002. Hull then attended the University of Washington in Seattle for two and half years working towards a digital arts degree. Hull plans to obtain his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with an emphasis in painting this year. After graduation he will continue working on becoming a professional artist and in the future he plans on continuing his education to pursue a Master of Fine Arts degree.
