 Wednesday, November 4

The Women’s Health and Baby U Club brownbag presentation “Paternity, Child Support and Custody”: The Women’s Health and Baby U Club will host a brownbag presentation on Paternity, Child Support and Custody at noon in the Bear River Room of the Pond Student Union. There will be a guest speaker from the Idaho Lawyer Volunteer Program. This presentation is open to the public.

Joint 14th Intermountain Conference on the Environment and 42nd Engineering Geology and Geotechnical Engineering Symposium: This conference will run all day both days in the Pond Student Union. ISU Percussion Ensemble and Caribbean Steel Band Concert: This free concert will take place at 7:30 p.m. in Goranson Hall located in the lower level of the ISU Fine Arts Building. For more information, call the ISU Department of Music at 282-3636.

Anderson Center Anniversary: The Janet C. Anderson Gender Resource Center will celebrate its 11th anniversary from 4 to 6 p.m. in room 114, in the north wing of Graveley Hall

Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony Performance: Ludwig van Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony will be performed by the Idaho Falls Symphony and the 160 voices of the Camerata Singers and the Idaho State University Concert Choir at 7:30 p.m. in the Joseph C. and Cheryl H. Jensen Grand Concert Hall of the L.E. and Thelma E. Stephens Performing Arts Center in Pocatello. * International Night 2009:  The Idaho State University International Students Association invites the whole community to experience the beautiful and exuberant culture of the world at the Pond Student Union Ballroom from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., with doors opening at 6 p.m. Tickets are $6 for students, $8 for faculty and staff, and $9 for the public. Tickets are an additional $1 if purchased at the door. Ticket sales will start Oct. 19 in the Student Union and the Rendezvous Complex.  • Film Screening of “Who Does She Think She Is”: The Idaho State University Janet C. Anderson Gender Resource Center invites the public to this screening at 1 p.m. Nov. 8, in the Pond Student Union Bengal Theater on the ISU campus.  The documentary by Academy-Award winning filmmaker Pamela Tanner Boll features five contemporary women artists.  There is no cost for admission, but donations to help cover the cost of the screening will be accepted.
