Monday, November 16

• Theatre ISU Present "Playboy of the Western World": Performances at 7:30 p.m. in the Rogers Black Box Theatre in the Stephens Performing Arts Center. For more information, call 282-3595.

• ISU Music Department Student Chamber Music Night: This free concert will be held at 7:30 p.m. in Goranson Hall located in the lower level of the ISU Fine Arts Building. For more information, call the ISU Department of Music at 282-3636.

"Intersect" 2009 Annual Graduate Student Exhibition:  Exhibit opening is at 6 p.m. at the John B. Davis Gallery in the ISU Fine Arts Building. Exhibit runs through Dec. 11. The gallery website is www.isu.edu/art/galleries.shtml. For more information contact Amy Jo Popa at (208) 282-3341.

Wednesday, November 18

The Women’s Health and Baby U Club brownbag presentation; Grandparents as Parents: The Women’s Health and Baby U Club will host a brownbag presentation on Grandparents as Parents at noon in the Bear River Room of the Pond Student Union. There will be a guest speaker from the Idaho Lawyer Volunteer Program.

World GIS Day: This event will be celebrated from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Rendezvous Complex. There will be presentations, hands-on GIS stations, food, a trivia contest and a host of raffle items, so join us for a fun-filled day to learn about Geographic Information Systems. The ever-popular GIS Day Chili Cook-off will be back for the fifth year running. • ISU Outdoor Adventure center will host Yurt Workshop: The Idaho State University Outdoor Adventure Center will hold an “Introduction to the Portneuf Yurt System” workshop covering all aspects of the yurt system at 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 19, in the Pond Student Union Snake River Room.

ISU Jazz Bands Concert: This concert will be held at 7:30 p.m. at the Jensen Grand Concert Hall in the Stephens Performing Arts Center.
