Fourth annual Horizons Independent Film Series will run Dec. 9-19 at Idaho State University

The fourth annual Horizons Independent Film Series will run from Wednesday, Dec. 9 – Friday, Dec. 18 in Pocatello at Idaho State University Pond Student Union's Bengal Theater and Bengal Café.
The festival will feature a series of films, which have social, moral, political, spiritual, ethical and cultural themes.
This year's selections include "The Good Soldier" playing on Wednesday and Thursday, Dec. 9 and 10, at 6 and 8 p.m. in the Bengal Theater. "Playing for Change: Peace thru Music" will play the same nights at 7:30 p.m. in the Bengal Café.
On Saturday, Dec. 12, "Julie and Julia" will play at 3:30, 6 and 8:30 p.m. in the Bengal Theater, and "Blue Gold: World Water Wars" will play at 5:30 and 8 p.m. in the Bengal Café.
The series resumes on Thursday and Friday, Dec. 17 and 18, at 6 and 8 p.m. with "American Casino" playing in the Bengal Theater and "Taos" showing at 7:30 p.m. in the Bengal Café.
Admission to the event is free, but donations are welcome to offset costs. Concessions will be available in the Bengal Theater for both venues. For more information and show times, visit www.isuevents.com/horizons.
