‘Clinical Psychopharmacology Update’ workshop set in Twin Falls Aug. 1-2

Idaho State University’s Department of Counseling will host a “Clinical Psychopharmacology Update” workshop Friday, Aug. 1, through Saturday, Aug. 2, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Twin Falls at the College of Southern Idaho, 315 Falls Avenue in Room A20 of the Evergreen Building.

Stephen A. DeNagy, M.D., ASCP, will discuss topics dealing with medical illnesses that complicate psychiatric care, which often go untreated. Advances in treatment of mental health and present rational schema for the treatment of mental illnesses will also be discussed.

DeNagy is a board certified clinical psychopharmacologist and internal medicine specialist who has been practicing behavioral medicine for more than 20 years. He lectures extensively for both university and industry presentations. He has presented promotional talks, as well as independent scientific exchanges and classes for university credit.

Attendees can receive 15 contact hours or one graduate credit for attending both days. There is a $150 registration fee.
