Bengal Dancers tryouts scheduled April 19

The Idaho State University 2008 USA Large Open Dance National Champion Bengal Dancers will hold 2008-09 squad tryouts from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, April 19, in Reed Gym.The Bengal Dancer squad size is 14 dancers.  Each chosen dancer will receive a $1,500 scholarship.

The squad performs at all ISU football, and men’s and women’s basketball home games. They also compete in various national competitions throughout the year.

The Bengal Dancers have won many competitions including USA Hip Hop National Champions in 2007 and have been nationally ranked since 1999.
