2008 Undergraduate Art Exhibition, competition at ISU in April

Idaho State University’s annual Undergraduate Art Exhibition and Scholarship Competition will be Monday, April 14, from 6 to 8 p.m., with an awards ceremony beginning at 7 p.m. at the John B. Davis Gallery in the lower level of the ISU Fine Arts Building.

Art work from the exhibition will be on display from Tuesday, April 15, through Friday, May 2, in the Davis Gallery. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

A lecture will be given by Gary Setzer on Monday, April 14, at 11 a.m. in Room 401 of the Fine Arts Building. Setzer, an artist and the juror of this year’s competition, is currently an assistant professor and Division Chair of Foundations at the University of Arizona. His performances, installations and videos have been exhibited and screened regionally and nationally.
