November 13, 2008
Trying to find quality family entertainment? Theatre/Dance ISU has the answer. Shakespeare’s original romantic comedy, “Love’s Labour’s Lost,” will be presented at the L.E. and Thelma E. Stephens Performing Arts Center Nov. 14-15 and 20-22.
The play begins at 7:30 p.m. nightly in the Beverly B. Bistline Thrust Theatre.
“This delightfully romantic tale is set in the court of the King of Navarre and tells the story of what happens when the King and three of his gentlemen take a pledge of chastity in favor of higher learning,” said Erin Joy, Theatre/Dance ISU Box Office Managers. “Temptation, mistaken identity and intrigue bring this comedy front and center.”
The production features original costumes and set design by the Theatre/Dance ISU faculty, staff and students.
Ticket prices are $14 for adults; $12 for seniors and ISU faculty and staff; $8 for children ages 6-12; and $5 for ISU students with valid Bengal cards.
Tickets are available now at the Stephens Performing Arts Center Box Office, by phone at 282-3595, or online at www.isu.edu/tickets.
