ISU fall career fair set Oct. 15 in PSUB
September 19, 2008
Idaho State University’s Career and Development Center will host a career fair Wednesday, Oct. 15, in ISU’s Pond Student Union Ballroom.
The career fair is a great opportunity to meet prospective employers, find out about career opportunities that you didn’t know existed, and network with other professionals and students.
“This is one of the very few opportunities job seekers have to meet multiple employers in one day and under one roof,” said Troy Kase, Director of ISU’s Career Center.
“A few ways to put your best foot forward is to be prepared and come with a dozen resumes,” said Kase. “Dress professionally; find out information about the companies attending the fair, be open-minded about different opportunities and be prepared to answer questions on the spot.”
A list of companies attending the career fair can be found online at http://www.isu.edu/career/careerfairs.shtml. The Career Fair is open to the public and admission is free for everyone.
