‘Too Much Rock’ concert series continues through January

The Associated Students of Idaho State University Program Board will continue to present the Too Much Rock concert series at 7:30 p.m. Wednesdays in the Pond Student Union Building Ballroom during the month of January.

Upcoming concerts include:

• Jan. 24 – Crash Four. This band has been playing in and around the Northwest for six years. It is consistently growing in popularity and professionalism. Along with headlining performances, Crash Four has shared the stage with Collective Soul, Phantom Planet, Sugar Land, Ben Lee, Left Over Salmon, Young Dubliners, Roger Clyne and the Piecemakers and Built to Spill. Formed in 1998, Crash Four soon became one of Boise's most talked about bands. It has won talent shows, placed third at Bogie’s annual Battle of the Bands and was voted “best band” in the Idaho Statesman’s annual Best of Treasure Valley poll.

• Jan. 31 – This band has been praised for its intelligent lyrics and their pop sensibilities. The Bradbury Press has a reputation for making thought-provoking music.With their latest CD "The Front,” the band combines melodic storytelling and inspired riffs to produce a compelling sound. The CD includes songs such as “Domino,” “Dive,” and "The Front.”

The Too Much Rock series started off Jan. 10 with a local band Scout Mountain, opening for Lijie Yang, a musician from Seattle.
