Cosmetology Center sets 13th competition, fundraiser, fashion show April 23

“Roll Out the Red Carpet” at the Spring Extravaganza Cosmetology Student Competition. The 13th annual competition, fashion show and fundraiser is scheduled at 7 p.m. April 23, at the Pond Student Union Ballroom at Idaho State University.

Hosted by the ISU Cosmetology Center, the event will feature cosmetology students from throughout Idaho. Students select a category to enter: beautiful couples; evening prom fashions; fashion through the times; ladies’ color, cut and day fashion; braiding; children’s fashions; joker’s wild fantasy; artificial nail or nail art; and men’s hair cutting. The public is invited to attend the fashion show. Tickets are available for $5 at the door, beginning at 6:30 p.m. All proceeds from ticket sales will go to the Idaho Food Bank.
