ISU music faculty to perform Nov. 16

The Idaho State University woodwind faculty will perform a recital at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 16 in the L.E. and Thelma E. Stephens Performing Arts Center Joseph C. and Cheryl H. Jensen Grand Concert Hall.
The event will be a mix of virtuosic solo works and chamber music written exclusively for the combinations of woodwind instruments. The program includes works by Weber, Martin, Tcherepnine, Beethoven and Saint-Saëns. Faculty performers are George Adams, bassoon; Monte Grisé, saxophone; Tiana Grisé, flute; Susan Hughes, oboe; John Masserini, clarinet; and Mark Neiwirth, piano.
Tickets may be purchased at the Stephens Center Box Office by calling 282-3595 or by picking them up in person between 10 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. They may also be purchased at the door an hour before the show. Prices are $5 for adults, $3 for ISU faculty and staff, $2 for pre-college students and free for ISU students.
