The ISU Nuclear Engineering Program supports several student organizations in terms of faculty support, equipment, student participation, etc.
American Nuclear Society (ANS)

National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE)
The purpose of this club is to promote knowledge of science and engineering and to cultivate mutual acquaintance and good fellowship among students and between students and instructors, and to provide services when called upon in order to project a positive image of Engineering to the community. Society of Women Engineers (SWE)
This club helps promote women in engineering. The SWE mission statement is: empower women to achieve full potential in careers as engineers and leaders, expand the image of the engineering and technology professions as a positive force in improving the quality of life, and demonstrate the value of diversity and inclusion.
