Sean Stock

Sean Stock

MHA

sstock@ensignservices.net

Sean Stock was born and raised in Bear Lake, Idaho. He received his undergraduate education at Idaho State University while seeking to decide his career path. During this time, he met my wife who was studying to become a registered nurse. They were married in his final year of undergraduate school. He received his undergraduate degree in business administration in 2022 with emphasis in healthcare administration. He spent many hours networking with different individuals helping him understand business, and what would be a good career path for him and his family. He spent 3 years as a career path intern at Gateway Transitional Care Center. During this time, Gateway Executive Director Gavin Monteath helped to lead and guide him in his journey to becoming an executive director himself. While at Gateway, he spent time working to develop a recruitment and retention program. This program caused Sean to spend months working with high level leaders, and after the launch, he was able to witness a  dramatic decrease in turnover. He also helped lead a dietary department to provide higher quality of food while managing food costs during rising inflation. This experience, along with attending high level executive meetings, solidified his desire to continue in the healthcare field to make a difference. He completed his masters degree in health care administration at Idaho State University in 2024 while working full time with Gateway. During this time, many executives helped prepare him to take over an operation. Shortly after, he received an offer to take over the McCall Rehabilitation and Care Center as the executive director.
