Meridian’s James Hunt is Career Path Intern for May

The Idaho State University Career Center has named ISU-Meridian’s James Hunt the Career Path Intern for May.

Hunt is a third-year pharmacy student who has worked as a CPI on the Meridian campus for the past two years. His main focus has been assisting with the ISU-Meridian/Ada County Community Health Screening Project, which provides six screenings an academic year to uninsured and vulnerable adults living in the Treasure Valley. 

Hunt has also worked on developing a programmatic assessment of interprofessional perceptions in those who participated in community health screening events compared to those who did not. 

“James has incredible vision for interprofessional activities and continues to pursue opportunities for our students to learn with and from others." said Glenda Carr, ISU clinical assistant pharmacy professor and Hunt's supervisor. "James is a great asset to the community health screenings and his efforts will be missed next year as he completes his rotations off campus."
