Be a Bengal: ISU to host April 3 reception for fall freshmen and parents in Meridian
March 18, 2013
Idaho State University will host “Bengal Declaration” on Wednesday, April 3, 6 p.m. at ISU-Meridian, 1311 E. Central Drive.
High school students attending ISU in the fall and their parents will learn about the next steps to becoming a Bengal and tips on how to make the freshman year a success, according to organizers.
Current ISU students and their parents will share firsthand experiences and tips on how to successfully handle the demands of college life. New students will have the opportunity to meet future Bengals from the Treasure Valley and visit with representatives from ISU colleges and departments.
“Even if you haven’t made your college choice or don’t know what you want to study yet, this event will help you prepare for a successful and enjoyable college experience,” said Dana Gaudet, admissions adviser.
To attend the reception, respond online to www.isu.edu/bengaldeclaration by March 27. Students or parents with questions about the event can contact Dana Gaudet at (208) 373-1798 or beecdan2@isu.edu.
