Think Energy! Idaho State University Offers Workship Training For Teachers June 18 - 19 in Meridian

Summer camp doesn’t have to be just for kids. The Energy Systems Technology and Education Center at Idaho State University is presenting professional development teacher training workshops this summer in Meridian.
June 18-19, workshops will be held at the Meridian Technical Charter High School, 3800 N. Locust Grove.
Workshop attendees will learn how to integrate energy into lesson plans, explore energy career opportunities for students, enhance their energy literacy, and enjoy an energy industry field experience. They will be given free materials including; a grade-level classroom poster set and energy activities guide, classroom energist set, energy action challenge classroom set and “Think Energy” tote bag. Energy activity guides correlate with Idaho content standards for science, technology, math, and social studies
Those participating can earn one or two ISU Continuing Education Credits for $50 per credit. Fees are payable the first day of the workshop session.
