ISU-Boise Dean Katsilometes Selected as a 2009 Woman of the Year

Boise - Idaho State University-Boise academic dean, Bessie Katsilometes, has been selected an honoree in the Idaho Business Review’s 2009 Idaho Women of the Year program.
She is one of 50 Idaho women who will be featured in the IBR’s annual Women of the Year magazine published March 23 and honored at an awards dinner March 26 at Boise Centre on the Grove.
Katsilometes, an Idaho State graduate, has served as chair of the Business and Service Department in the ISU College of Technology, overseeing numerous programs of study, including cosmetology, culinary arts, marketing and management, law enforcement, office technology, and paralegal studies.
She also is the former director of the ISU Center for New Directions. In 2006, she became dean of academic programs at ISU-Boise.
