Hello, ISU-Meridian students!
My last day with ISU is February 2nd. The search is on for a new librarian, but there will be a gap between when I leave and they start. Here is how to get help in the meantime:
- If you need help with database searching, citations, finding books/articles, contact: (208) 282-3152 or send your request to http://isu.libanswers.com/form.php?queue_id=0&pname=&pquestion
- If you need technical help with the library website or can’t get into a database, contact: http://isu.libanswers.com/support
- For program-specific information, locate your major/area of interest on our list of research guides.
A librarian from the Pocatello library will be coming to Meridian once a month to hold open office hours. Feel free to stop by room 508A for in-person, library help on these days:
- February 14-16
- March 7-9
- April 4-6
- April 25-27 (tentative)
Some services will be limited during the interim. Interlibrary loan of physical items (books, dissertations) will be put on hold until the new librarian is hired. A workaround is to get a community borrower card from BSU or to use your local public library. Interlibrary loan of online items (PDF articles/book chapters) will not be impacted.
If you request books from the Pocatello library, these items will now be sent directly to your home address. A handout on how to request/return books is attached.
Reminder- We are no longer sharing space with the high school library. One of the former computer labs (room 505) is now set up as a quiet study space.
