Blue Cross of Idaho Pathways
Funded by the Blue Cross of Idaho Foundation, the Idaho AHEC Team is committed to transform and sustain health professions education in Idaho, promoting the development of a diverse and sustainable healthcare workforce for rural and underserved communities.
Our Pathway activities focus on:
- Idaho Pathway Coalition: Identifies and partners with health professionals to develop pathway activities.
- Idaho Pathway Model: a system to improve the sustainably of Pathway activities by recruiting new partners across the state.
- Idaho AHEC Pathway activities: Oriented for middle and high school students interested in knowing more about health professions in Idaho.
- We feature information about scholarships and loan repayment. We encourage parents and caregivers to participate in our activities to get informed about healthcare and higher education opportunities in Idaho.
