ICCU Bengal Arena is a vision for a stronger bond between Idaho State University and the region we call home. As a proposed home for Bengal Athletics and a shared venue for university and community events, it would give Pocatello-Chubbuck and the surrounding region new reasons to gather on the ISU campus.

A new chapter in our shared history
For 125 years, ISU has grown alongside the communities that helped establish it. The ICCU Bengal Arena offers a chance to carry that relationship forward through a place people can share.
The vision brings the energy of Bengal Athletics together with opportunities for university and community events. The project will be possible entirely through private support, giving people who care about ISU and this region a role in shaping what comes next.
ICCU Bengal Arena at a glance
- Location: Idaho State University's Pocatello campus, anticipated to be north of the ICCU Dome, with the exact site to be determined through a design process.
- Seating: An estimated 4,000 to 4,500 people in a setting designed for an energetic atmosphere. ICCU Bengal Arena will include premium seating and premium experience opportunities.
- Project cost: An estimated $75 million to $80 million, to be finalized through architectural design.
- Funding: Private gifts will fund the entire arena project. Additional fundraising support is critical, and fundraising progress will ultimately determine when construction begins.
From a shared vision to construction
The project will soon enter the architectural design and planning phase, which is expected to take place over approximately one year. During this planning phase, ISU will determine the final design and location. This project phase will also establish what the project includes and its final cost.
Fundraising will continue during this work. Construction will begin once all required private funding is secured, with a construction schedule established as design and fundraising progress.
