Registered Dietitian Nutritionist Day Established
At the March 4, 2016 Pocatello City Council meeting, Mayor Brian Blad issued a proclamation saluting the efforts of Registered Dietitian Nutritionists. The decree will establish March 9, 2016 as Registered Dietitian Nutritionist Day in Pocatello. The proclamation encourages “all citizens to recognize the contributions of Registered Dietitian Nutritionists and express appreciation for their commitment to promoting science-based nutrition.”
Three alumni of both the ISU Didactic Program in Dietetics and Dietetic Internship represented Pocatello Dietitians to receive the proclamation. Kaylene Loveland, RDN, LD, Natalie Christensen, RDN, LD and Jenifer Reader, RDN, LD.
