POCATELLO – ISU Credit Union Chief Operations Officer Doug Chambers handed over an $8,000 check to the Idaho State University Foundation to kickstart the 35th annual I Love ISU Campaign.

Chambers presented the gift at a ceremony at the ISU Credit Union University Branch in Pocatello today.

“We greatly appreciate the generosity of ISU Credit Union ,” said Kallee Valentine, ISU annual giving director. “We look forward to teaming with other community and University partners to continue raising money for ISU scholarships.”

I Love ISU is an annual fundraising campaign that supports student scholarships for Idaho residents and other programs at Idaho State University.

This year’s campaign officially begins Thursday, Aug. 31, at the ISU football game against Western Oregon at Holt Arena. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held before the game at a tailgate with the ISU Alumni Association and the ISU Office of the President that will begin at 4:30 p.m. The public is invited. The game begins at 6:30 p.m.

The campaign will run through Sept. 14 as callers reach out to the community for support of ISU’s students.
