As the Graduate School's Customer Service Coordinator, Kara prioritizes service at the front desk to manage incoming and outgoing communications, projects, tasks and needs that arise. She performs administrative duties related to reporting needs for admission, recruitment, data dashboards, budgeting, and retention.
Full Bio
Kara has always had her roots firmly planted in Pocatello but has had opportunities to travel that have afforded her a diverse outlook on life. She attended college in Hawaii where she received her Bachelor of Arts in English Education with a minor in Theater. In the midst of her college career, she studied abroad in the United Kingdom and spent just shy of two years living there. After graduating with her Bachelor’s degree in 2015, Kara taught high school and middle school for years in Hawaii and in Pocatello. Despite her decision to step away from the education world for a couple of years to dabble in the legal profession, Kara has always had a passion for education and made her way to be part of the Graduate School in 2023.
