Degrees Offered in GIS


ISU's comprehensive geotechnologies programs address the significant demand for trained experts in geospatial science and technology through academic programs of study within the College of Science and Engineering, College of Arts and Letters, and the College of Technology.

For admission to the program the following are required:

  • GRE scores (The Department of Geosciences  require GRE minimum: 50th percentile or above in two of the three categories or strengths clearly demonstrated in other components of the application)
  • Transcripts
  • Letter of Intent with your statement of goals included
  • Three (3) letters of Recommendation
