The purpose of the First Gens Student Association shall be to work to be a resource for first-generation college students and TRIO students at Idaho State University. 

The First-Gen Club aims to:

• Inform ISU first generation college students and TRIO students about the many resources the university has to offer.
• Mentor TRIO College students. 
• Participate in service learning projects.
• Participate in the National First Generation College Celebration annually on November 8th.
