Vax Cash!
We first sent out information about this vaccination incentive in our August 18 Roaring through the Month, but we’d like to keep this on your radar.
On August 17, 2021, an email was sent to students informing them about a Covid vaccination incentive program. We want our students to feel confident that Idaho State University is a safe and healthy place to get their in-person education this fall, so ISU is launching a Vax Cash incentive program to encourage students to get their COVID-19 vaccination.
Students who attend one of the vaccine clinics on campus and receive a COVID-19 vaccination will receive a one-time voucher for $100. Students must bring their Bengal ID when they visit the clinic. The voucher can be redeemed for cash at the ISU Cashier’s Office on the Pocatello campus or at locations on the Meridian or Idaho Falls campuses. Students who have already been fully vaccinated can present proof of their vaccination at the Office of the Dean of Students and receive their $100 voucher.
Students who redeem their voucher will also be entered into weekly drawings throughout the semester for additional prizes, including a $500 voucher for the University Bookstore, $1,000 cash, and more!
Idaho State will provide a number of vaccination clinics over the next few weeks. There is no cost to get a COVID-19 vaccination.
This incentive program is being fully funded using CARES Act money provided to Idaho State University by the federal government.
