Know Your Funding Resources - Apply for FAFSA Early

Your continuing students may not realize that they can and should complete a FAFSA every academic year. The application remains open from October 1 to June 30, but, as our Financial Aid web page points out, some federal student aid programs have limited funds, so students are strongly encouraged to apply early. Complete instructions are provided on our Apply for Financial Aid page, but students are also invited to reach out to our financial aid counselors at any time for assistance and information. Tip: Spring 2023 class registration opens in early November (see the full listing of registration dates-by-class-level on the Academic Calendar). Encourage your students to complete the FAFSA at the same time.
