Have questions? Join us at our September 8 Bengal Family Network Town Hall!
Our next Bengal Family Network Town Hall will be held online on Wednesday September 8 at 7:00 p.m. via Zoom.
At our online town halls, we feature important and exciting new resources and opportunities for your students. At the September 8 town hall, we will have a University representative available to talk about Idaho State's Covid-19 response and continuing efforts to provide a safe, healthy, and welcoming environment for our entire campus community. We also leave plenty of time for Q&A, so bring any questions you have about Idaho State, our services, or your student’s success needs, and we’ll help you find the answers.
Topics we’ll address at the September 8 town hall include
- Transitions - checking in with your student about the start of the semester, looking ahead to the fall break, and transition-related issues common at both of those times in the semester.
- Academic Support - tutoring, advising, and adjusting one’s course if necessary - the really important thing is to stay in touch!
- Bengal Family Weekend - events, benefits of attending, what you can expect.
- First Year Students - exciting new developments for supporting the First-year Student Experience.
We’ll also be ready to address any questions you may have. Of course, you don’t have to wait for a town hall to get individualized help. Reach out to us by email at bengalfamilynetwork@isu.edu and receive a personalized response to your inquiry. We are happy to work with you to support your student’s success.
We offer closed captioning in English and Spanish, as well as sign language interpretation if you RSVP with this request by September 6th.
