CP3 Community Awareness and Terrorism Prevention - Friday, April 15
Educate Your Community on Preventing Targeted Violence and Terrorism
Friday, April 15, 1:00-3:00 p.m. on Zoom (virtual workshop)
The Idaho State University, Department of Sociology, Social Work and Criminology invites students to join them on Zoom for this virtual workshop. The Community Awareness Briefing (CAB) introduces communities to the foundational knowledge needed to successfully understand and prevent targeted violence and terrorism. This workshop also teaches participants to identify ways communities can protect themselves and their loved ones through effective prevention and intervention strategies. Family, friends, and colleagues are often the first ones to see behavioral changes in individuals. Knowing what to look for and how to reach out for help is critical to preventing targeted violence and terrorism.
