Eligibility Requirements
NACE Starleague is the primary league in which ISU esports teams will be competing. It is the largest of all collegiate leagues, with more than 800 schools enrolled and nearly $300,000 available in prize pools annually. The following are requirements to compete in the NACE Starleague.
Academic Eligibility
- Must be enrolled at ISU as a full time student (12 credits or more) per semester for undergraduates and (9 credits or more) per semester for graduates.
- Must maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA for undergraduate students and a 3.0 GPA for graduates.
- Students are responsible for reading and understanding the University's expectations documented in the Student Code of Conduct. By enrolling, students agree to comply with the standards of behavior that are outlined in the handbook, code of conduct, and other University policies.
Competition Location
- Students must compete in the ISU space dedicated for the Esports program.
Competitive Seasons
- A student may participate in esports for a maximum of five calendar years, beginning from the first date of classes according to the University academic calendar for the term specified on the Intent to Compete form.
