Peder Humlen

Peder Humlen currently serves as a Deputy Chief of EMS with an extensive background in emergency management, planning, data analysis, and counter-terrorism. Peder has spent 23 years in public safety, specifically in EMS and Law Enforcement. Peder has overseen large-scale events in Ada County for nearly 14 years, often serving as the Planning Section Chief and Joint- Incident Commander. Peder earned his bachelor's degree in Public Safety Studies through Siena Heights University and his Master's degree in Public Safety Leadership and Administration through Arizona State University. Peder studied abroad in the Middle East while attending Arizona State, focusing on emergency management, international policing, and counter-terrorism. Peder is actively working on his Ph.D. in Public Policy through Liberty University.
