Research
Electrical Engineering (EE -- including Electronics) faculty at ISU possess a wide variety of research expertise including: Control Systems, Microelectronics, Circuits & Systems, Power and Energy Systems, and Digital Signal Processing. The EE faculty supervise graduate projects and chair doctoral student thesis committees in their areas of specialization. Faculty publish research and engineering education papers in leading journals and conferences including IEEE transactions, IEEE and ASEE Conferences (regional, national and international), and Integrated Computer-Aided Engineering. The faculty are also members of numerous professional societies, hold offices in organizations including IEEE and ASEE, and serve on editorial boards and national review panels (e.g., National Science Foundation). Research grants are funded by agencies such as NSF, INL, DOD, and DOE. For specifics regarding each faculty member's areas of research, please refer to the corresponding page under Faculty
