Ruth is a native of Idaho and has lived in Boise for over 35 years. She is active in the local and state dietetic associations, and has been president of both. She is currently the Delegate from Idaho to the House of Delegates of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, serving her second term. Ruth was also the first chair of the licensure board for dietetics in Idaho.
In 2013, Ruth was named the Outstanding Educator for Dietetic Internships for Area One.
Her hobbies include gardening and cooking, skiing, mountain bike riding, backpacking, river rafting, and traveling.

Tracie is the person who greets you when you stop by the Dietetics Program offices (Located in Garrison Hall on the 6th floor) and/or when you call us. Tracie graduated from ISU with a Bachelors degree in Speech Communication and Rhetorical Studies and a Master of Health Education degree.
