Meet Your Advisors
Tara Smith and Ashley Larson work with prospective, incoming and current students in a variety of ways, including advising for the College of Business programs. Undergraduate business students of all levels are advised by Ashley, Orla and their outstanding team of peer advisors.
What is Advising?
A meeting with an advisor helps prepare you for the road ahead. Advisors will work with you to develop a four-year plan, determine the best courses to take for the coming term, and help solve problems related to registration and course scheduling. We suggest meeting with an advisor at least once per year.
Why Be Advised?
Regular advising helps ensure students are on track for graduation. Advisors in the College of Business help students find the appropriate courses to take to fulfill degree requirements and make sure they are aware of the most efficient path to graduation. Advisors can also provide advice on double majoring, minoring, and more.
