Master of Occupational Therapy Student Association (MOTSA)


II.    PURPOSES OF THE ORGANIZATION:
A.    Public relations and education:
1.    To educate the university, community, and state about occupational
therapy health care services.
2.    To act as advocates for the occupational therapy profession and expand the community's knowledge of the services that occupational therapy provides.
3.    To offer an environment to educate and interact with professionals and with colleagues on current issues within the occupational therapy profession.
4.    To offer social activities in which students may get together outside of class and school functions.
B.    Supporting Activities:
1.    To promote the fellowship within the student organization.
2.    To raise funds to further address the needs and purposes of the student organization.
3.    To attend professional occupational therapy meetings, conferences, and expenditures deemed relevant and beneficial by the MOTSA members.
4.    To promote professional development through guest lectures and participation.
