Center for Ecological Research and Education
Established in 1989, the Center for Ecological Research and Education (CERE) provides ISU faculty, educators in the community, and students access to equipment and resources that may not be available in other laboratories. CERE is here to help fill that need and to provide opportunities for collaboration between faculty, community partners, students, and teachers with a focus on ecological problems.
Mission
The mission of CERE is to provide a framework and shared instrumentation for collaborative research and education that connects the life, earth, and social sciences within the broad nexus of ecological science and to facilitate partnerships that engage ISU scientists with stakeholder groups and our community to co-produce understanding and address complex problems.
