The IEC is a competition hosted in Boise where college students throughout the state come together to present their business idea for an innovative product or service. Before going to Boise, students prepare:
- A business concept proposal
- Prototype or sample
- A 60-second elevator pitch
Which could all lead to their selection by judges to attend.
During the fall semester, participants will prepare their idea and present at an ISU campus pitch-off in December with a chance to win $2,000.
Once in Boise, the students will present their ideas in front of a panel of judges for a chance to win a portion of the $100,000 in prize money.
