Live Learn Play

Idaho State University sits at the foot of the Portneuf and Bannock Mountain Ranges. It is home to more than 13,000 students who can choose from 24 undergraduate programs and 13 advanced degree programs offered within the College of Arts & Letters alone. Both Southeast Idaho and ISU take pride in their great educational opportunities as well as a plethora of outdoor experiences. ISU students can not only live and learn but play in their own backyard.

Pocatello, known as the "gateway to the northwest," contains more than 100 miles of hiking, biking and running trails for the adventurous individual. The spring, summer and fall months open up opportunities for camping, fishing, kayaking, rock climbing and disc golf. The winter months offer even more opportunities to explore the great outdoors through downhill and cross-country skiing, snowboarding and snowshoeing. Come see all that ISU has to offer you!
