The ability to speak more than one language is key in the competition for employment, scholarships, and acceptance into medical school, law school or health science professional programs. People with high levels of proficiency are in demand in many careers, including the field of interpretation and the field of translation. What is the difference between these two disciplines? What makes a good interpreter or translator? Why are these skills so highly prized?
