Opportunity Aligned Resourcing (OAR)

As part of Idaho State University's ongoing commitment to enhancing operational efficiency and effectiveness, we have launched the Administrative Support Services Opportunity Aligned Resourcing initiative.

What is our Why? Change is a natural and necessary part of any thriving organization. Our goal with this initiative is to make thoughtful, gradual improvements that benefit everyone on campus.

Here’s why this initiative is important:

• Improving Efficiency: We are looking to streamline and improve our administrative processes to reduce redundancies and make everyone's work smoother and more efficient.
• Enhancing Support: By updating and optimizing our administrative support structures, we aim to provide better, more consistent support to all departments, ensuring that everyone has what they need to succeed.
• Embracing Technology: Integrating modern technologies will help us work smarter, not harder. These updates will simplify tasks and improve communication across the university.
• Promoting Professional Growth: We are committed to creating opportunities for professional development and career advancement for our administrative staff, helping them to grow and thrive in their roles.
• Ensuring Stability and Security: Implementing robust data security measures and planning for smooth transitions will help maintain stability and resilience in our administrative functions.

Our focus is on making practical, beneficial changes that support our university community's needs and goals. We believe that by working together and making these enhancements, we can create a more efficient, supportive, and positive environment for everyone.
