I am originally from New Zealand and have been living in the U.S for 5 years now. I began my schooling at Gillette College in Gillette Wyoming where I received an Associates of science in Biology whilst playing basketball. I then transferred to Idaho State where I continued to play basketball for 3 years and began working towards a masters in Microbiology.
I am currently looking at microbial diversity in Antarctic ponds, exploring how different physicochemical parameters affect the abundance and distribution of microbes in several different meltwater ponds of Bratina Island, Antarctica.
