Biographical Sketch
Ms. Abbruzzese has been an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Biological Sciences at Idaho State University since 2012. Before coming to ISU, Ms. Abbruzzese worked as a Research Associate at the Nora Eccles Cardiovascular Research and Training Institute at the University of Utah. Ms. Abbruzzese received her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Science in Biology from Utah State University. Much of her training and research experience has involved the study of voltage-gated ion channels. Structure/function relationships, channelopathies, and drug development were a major focus of these studies.
